From the NFL Shop to Facebook Live broadcasts, we used Visa's position as an official sponsor of Super Bowl 51 to highlight our innovations in payments and to elevate our role in preparing fans for the biggest game in sports.
In the week before the Super Bowl, we hosted four live streams in Houston with Antonio Brown, Greg Olsen, Le'Veon Bell, DeAngelo Williams, Steve Smith Sr., Golden Tate, Malcolm Smith, and Anthony Barr.
In addition to your standard Super Bowl predictions, we kept the energy up with mini-games, gave away Super Bowl tickets, talked about technology, threw some product demos of our next generation payment ring, and encouraged our talent to, "Pay like a champion."
On the ground, we gave NFL Shop customers an MVP experience by helping them set up their phones for mobile payments and whisked them through checkout with dedicated lines. We also took the opportunity to showcase the Visa payment ring to the public.
